Abstract expressionist painting is a non verbal language & like speaking, sometimes something is “said” without thinking. In the moment the “blurt” can be a truthful expression but also one that’s not thought through & may have unexpected consequences.
“Big-mouth” is one of those paintings that revealed what it’s about early on. In this case my intuitive strokes didn’t require any apologies!
